Happy 2008

Choose your metaphor - there is love in the house again - the wolfpack is intact again - whatever your pleasure - Maddie and I are home and together again!

We were in bed just after 10 pm last night - the stroke of midnight on the east coast - the time zone for which I celebrate all holidays. Earlier in the evening I had a nice dinner with Laura Keith Ian Erik and canines Clyde Kayley Kaiser in El Paso. Very much earlier in the morning I had to wake up at 4 am EST - 2 am MST - to make it for a 6 am flight.

I have watched a surprising amount of college football this holiday season - but no full games yet. That will change this evening as Maddie and I watch Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. I learned from Dad that Hawaii is the only undefeated team in the nation. So I hope this changes tonight. I learned from the online version of the local paper that NMSU will get between $400k and $600k because their WAC rivals made it to a BCS bowl game.
